Commemorative cast aluminum signs.

The sign below, consisting of a wood core covered by pressed galvanized steel with attached metal serifed typeface letters and arrows, may be an ancestor to all the town's aluminum signs.

Formerly (until mid 2006) at Horace James Circle.

Federal sign guidelines recommend, but do not require, white text on a green background for street name signs. This may be the only white on green street sign in Brookline.
